What we did in class today:
- Completed a warm-up: What is a moral you try to live your life by?
- Got "Animals & Allegories" handout stamped if it was completed
- Went over responses on the handout
- Read examples of fables
- Shared in groups to discover what a fable is
- If time allows: wrote your own fables using ideas from classmates' warm-up responses.
Reminders:
- Be reading your independent reading book for homework! At least 15 minutes a night...
