This activity is meant to assess your current strengths and weaknesses with grammar (nouns and punctuation).
If you were absent,1. either copy these sentences follow the directions (you do not have to write down the directions) or 2. print out the document and make the corrections/marks by hand.
2. Set up workbooks
Today you also got your English workbooks.
Tear out pages 37-42 and staple into a packet. Write your name on the front and spine of the workbook.
Sorry, if you were absent, you cannot do this from home. You will wait until you come back to class to get a workbook. In the meantime, here is a link to a digital version of the workbook unit.
3. Previewing the text
Skim through the text and write a question mark next to any unfamiliar words
